Brand Vanessa Boucher
Raised on Cape Cod, Vanessa Boucher has been an artist since she could use her hands, from blocks and sandcastles, to charcoal and paint. It was her time as yearbook editor in her senior year of high school that nurtured her love of photography and design and her avid love of books that developed her fascination with history and typography.
After pursuing her interests in History at Cape Cod Community College before graduating from The New England Institute of Art, Brookline, MA in 2013 with Bachelor of Science in Graphic design, Vanessa has developed a healthy respect for the design trends and philosophies of the past in order to create and evolve with the designs of the next generations.
Artisitcally, Vanessa’s work can be found in numerous private collections and recent exhibitions include showings at the NEIA Gallery at the Plaza, Brookline, MA; RAW BOSTON’s: Birthday Showcase, Boston, MA and artscope magazines “Light Up the Arts” event, Boston, MA. Professionally, she is the Media Development Associate at artscope magazine, Quincy, MA where she builds and manages the Apple Newsstand edition of their bi-monthly print issue and a Consultant, Designer at EverPresent, Newton, MA.
In her free time she can be found watching reruns of Grey’s Anatomy, trying new Pinterest recipes or reading.
She estimates she’s read over 5,000 books in her life.
