“My work is reminiscent of after-school cartoons and video games of the late 90's, those which encouraged very dedicated relationships to imaginary animal-like characters. The same investment is reflected in my paintings; the tactile process of applying the paint to the canvas is as equally enjoyable and important as the piece itself. Color is carefully considered, though developed gradually as each is mixed and placed.”
